Conveniently located halfway between Sydney and Adelaide, we are just an hour and a half or less away by private flight from Sydney and Melbourne consequently offering an effortless journey for fly-in guests. Additionally, the nearby towns of Hay and Griffith are only an hour’s drive away or less; making Corynnia Station a perfect destination for all travelers.

With reliable wet weather access via Cameron Road, we remain easily accessible year-round, ensuring that your visit is convenient and stress-free no matter the season.

We suggest using our directions rather than GPS. The GPS may not take you on the most direct route and may estimate longer travel times. 

Wet weather access to Corynnia Station is via Cameron Rd only. If you are unsure contact us at 02 6993 5807.

For your convenience, it’s important to note that while Corynnia Station and Carrathool do not offer refueling or charging facilities, you can easily refill or charge your vehicle in the nearest larger town which include Hay, Griffith, Hillston, Narrandera, and West Wyalong, all of which are within a reasonable distance from the station. It is important to plan ahead and top up your fuel or charge your vehicle before arriving to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted journey to Corynnia Station.

We welcome fly-in guests to our two private airstrips

Directly halfway between Sydney and Adelaide and less than 1.5 hours flight from Sydney or Melbourne, Corynnia Station offers an easily accessible authentic Australian outback luxury experience for both international and domestic travellers.

By prior arrangement, we may be able to offer a complimentary vehicle for fly-in guests arriving by private flight.

Furthermore, the dry weather dirt airstrips are in good condition. One of these airstrips is located on the perimeter of the homestead garden, adjacent to the guest accommodations. In addition, the other airstrip, which is suitable for larger planes, is situated elsewhere on the property.”

Driving Directions

Please fill your fuel tanks in a major town as neither Carrathool or Corynnia Station supply fuel.

From Sydney or Canberra:

The most direct route is via Yass, Harden, Temora, Ardlethan and Griffith to Corynnia Station. Alternative route via Wagga Wagga.

From Hay – dry weather access only

Take the Sturt Highway from Hay towards Narrandera and travel 55k.

Turn left off the highway over the Murrumbidgee River into Carrathool.

Cross the railway line and follow the bitumen road for approximately 25k to Corynnia Station.

Ours is the first mailbox on the right which is a large white drum signed ‘Corynnia’.

Proceed through gates and follow the sign to the homestead compound – approximately 5.5k turn right before the grid following signage and come to the homestead.

Please leave gates as you find them.

There is an alternative route that is all weather so contact Corynnia Station for those directions if required.

From Griffith – all weather access

Take the Kidman Way north from Griffith towards Hillston (not south towards Darlington Point).

Travel approximately 25kms from Griffith to Tabbita (see wheat silos on right).

Turn left into Tabbita Lane and travel approximately 23k.

Turn left at Cameron Road onto unsealed road for 17k in total. There are a number of mail boxes and a sign for Corynnia Station.

Proceed past the ‘No Through Road’ signs and over three grids. This sign just means there is no public road that leads through to another public road.

 Dry Weather Access Only means no trucks on the road in wet conditions. Please drive slowly and carefully in wet conditions so as not to slip off the road.

Directly after the third grid, turn left towards the homestead compound following the signage and come to the homestead aqua door.

From Wagga or Narranderra – dry weather access but all weather access via Griffith

Take the Sturt Highway from Narrandera towards Hay and travel for approximately 120 kilometres.

Turn right off the highway over the Murrumbidgee River into Carrathool.

Cross the railway line and follow the bitumen road for approximately 25k to Corynnia Station.

Turn right at roundabout beside Goolgowi on the Mid Western Hwy and drive towards Hay.

Travel for 8 kilometers then turn left onto unsealed Merrondale Lane.

Travel approximately 8 kilometers to the T intersection.

Turn right onto sealed Tabbita Lane.

Take first left onto unsealed Cameron Road for 17k in total.There are a number of mail boxes and a sign for Corynnia Station.

Take the Mid Western Highway towards Hay.

Proceed through the big roundabout past Goolgowi and continue towards Hay for 8 kilometres.

Turn left at unsealed Merrondale Lane and travel 8 kilometres to T intersection.
